Argg.. Stealership prices..

So I want to do some preventative maintenance on my car, so I plan on ordering a tune up kit from pap-parts which includes spark plugs, air, cabin and oil filter and a fuel filter (don't need that) for 100bux basically.

So I call the delearship to see how much they want.

Plugs (6) 85 dollars
Oil Filter 30 dollars
Cabin filter 106 dollars
Air filter 54 dollars

Thats 275 dollars in parts.. I can't imagine how much they would charge to actually do the work.. Crazy..

Mike

Ah, you haven't called Sunset yet, have you?

They offer nearly 50% off for most parts.

BTW, my local dealer wanted 30% OVER Suggested Retail for some touchup paint. Boy, do they take the "suggested" thing to a whole new level!
