It's an aluminum rod about 8 inches long and the diameter of a lug bolt. About one inch of one end is threaded. It helps when taking your wheels off or putting them back on. When you remove the first lug bolt thread this rod into that hole, then remove the rest of the lug bolts. You can then slide the wheel off without causing any damage. When you put the wheel back on just thread it into the top most hole hand tight and slide the wheel over it. It makes lining up the wheel easier than trying to hold it in place while you start the first lug bolt. One came with your tool set.
