Often you can just reach through the wheel to measure rotor minimum thickness with your mic. The minimum runout is normally stamped on the rotor hat. If they are close to min. I always change them. I generally change the rotors every other pad change. A set of cheapie Balo rotors is about $120 while OEM Zimmermans are about $180/pr. Fresh pads and rotors are sweet!
