motor mount?

04 boxster S starting to notice a slight jerk when the tiptronic shifts. Wondering about the front motor mount as the cause. Only have 37K on it, but I do drive it hard. Is that too few miles to see the mount start to go or is time as much of a factor as well? I have a lift, so it shouldn't be too big a job. Do I understand correctly that the 987 mount is interchangable and somewhat improved?
