first oil change

just changed the oil for the first time on my 2002S with 63K kilometers (37K Miles)..I wasn't sure when the previous owner had done the last change so I decided to make a clean start. I wasn't able to find Mobil 1 10-40 so I ended up using Mobil 1 5-50. The oil I drained looked clean, the oil filter cup was clean also. I was dreading cutting open the paper filter to see what was in there. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was completely clean. I'm hoping this means I have no bearing issues at the moment. It took over 9 quarts of oil. Next project is changing tires (new Michelin PS2) and new rotors and pads.

Godo job! Don't sweat anything, enjoy the car as it was meant to be enjoyed.
