Fixed a rattle! The latch assembly for the top was making a racket. Turns out one of the bolts was missing. A quick Lowe's trip resolved that, and the rattle. One down, who knows how many more to go lol!

Ok man, it's clear that you are truly talented with the wrapping process. For those of us who want to learn, can you give us some pointers or good videos to start with?

It's not as hard as it seems. Take a look at CKwraps Utube videos. He's very good at showing the processes. He also has a beginner
to advanced instruction website for $9 a month and you can quit and time you want. I watched for about a month before I tried the green wrap. Came out pretty well but had a few mistakes. The 2nd.time, the orange really worked out well. Also I used Avery Denison gloss. It very low tack and self healing. Really easy to used.
Having a helper would be a big plus. I worked alone and it makes it harder and slower.
Heres a link to him showing how to wrap a Honda S2000 front fender. It has some similarities to a boxster fender.

Officially dragged it out of its winter hibernation after being robbed by the government for a beer mat size piece of paper. Any it's all legal now for the next 3 months.

It was out two weeks ago for our National Car Test which is like the UK MOT test. It passed and was put back into hiding.

So today I gave it a good bath, cleaned roof, polished glass and have been driving around our 5km limit.

I do love this car and it still turns heads at 18 years old.

It's such a contrast to the other one that went into its hibernation for a few months. I'd love to have both available but it would cost €340 per month on tax to have them both road legal at the same time and that's just ridiculous.

So roll on summer and the end of travel restrictions. I'm in Ireland in case anyone is wondering about the local idiocy laws.

Great looking Boxster Traco, but how the hell did you get it in and out of that container?

Got my Boxster alittle over a week ago and this is my first Porsche, right away needed 4 new tires but mechanically is in great shape, polished and ceramic coated the paint, installed a double din Sony head unit with a back up camera. Put on 15mm wheel spacers all around. Had leftover tint from another car so I tinted the taillights(not sure how I feel just yet but I do plan on doing the led 718 style) I also installed the fister muffler with the stock cats since I can’t find the bypass pipes, and painted the calipers

First autox of the season. 38*F starting temps meant not a ton of grip, but it was great to be back out there.

The Boxster was brought out of her sleep yesterday. I adjusted the tire pressure, checked the oil and fired her up. Small puff of blue smoke (expected) and she soon settled into a steady smooth idle. Went for an hour long drive with no issues.

I’m looking forward to a the next six months of permagrin.

Woke up my Boxter from wither hibernation today and had a plan to take a quick grocery shopping to close by market for a 2km trip. This 'short trip' came to be a 138km of face wide smiles

I replaced the AOS, which was one of the both most annoying and gratifying mechanical experiences I've had in a while. It's unfortunate I'll likely never have to do one of these again, because I learned a lot. Here is my vanquished nemesis, straight out of the car.

You should give it a good swift kick while it is laying there.
