I just paid a guy to do mine yesterday.
Yours look great, and I love that color.

Thanks BoxMann; it's driven only in the summer and parked in the garage year-round so, this is a once a year labor of love.

Removed rear bumper cover... and the bumper bar to which the two bumperette blocks are attached.
Tried to drill it out the 6 rivets yesterday morning. Drill bits I had were insufficient, so I tabled that task until I could visit Harbor Fright. Then, early in the evening when light remained in the sky... I watched some "more" Youtube vids... and saw a guy manage out his rivets absent a drill. I grabbed a hammer and metal punch.

Had those rivets out in 2 whacks each. 2 minutes and 12 whacks.

This morning will reinstall the bumper bar (absent the bump mnetal pieces). Looking for a couple used license plate light housings (or will buy new)/

Yes, I'm doing the bumperette delete.

For car shows. I still have the original cover to use during drives if I want.

Removed the hardtop and put it into storage for the next few months. Them went in search of power steering leak. Found a hose that has slipped out of its bracket/grommet and chaffed thru leaving a pinhole leak and spraying PS fluid.
Looks like it will be a pain to replace.

Yours, too. I still have a few second thoughts on the color combo mats I bought - blue and natural. They match the car’s paint and interior, but not so much the grey carpet (a rare color in a Savanna interior). But I still like them.

No second thoughts. They're bold and they look sharp. |

A shout of THANKS to mikesz for the part!
Just finished the delete install (now that's an oxymoron). When it begins bugging me enough I'll find a way to better secure the corners of the delete to the bumper. The double sided tape didn't work.
