I like your steering wheel. Where did you get it?

Carsdream in Poland. They recovered the wheel and added some padding.

I visited Carsdream last year when I was in Germany to talk to them about the possibility of having them do mine. I like that they can also wrap the Airbag when other companies don’t and that they can get exact matching leather and embossing.
They were working over a new Turbo S and it was absolutely sick.
I talked with the owner Wislaw sp? about different wheel options and he showed me some examples and we discussed shipping etc. The wheels looked amazing. He gave me his card and I tried to WhatsApp him when I got home but to this day the message shows as unread. I’m not sure what is happening there. Possibly I have his number wrong but the number has a Carsdream logo.
I gave up and moved to other projects but I still really want to do this as I feel the stock wheel covering looks cheap and want a better feeling wheel.
I see now there was a group buy on Rennlist late last fall that would have been great to get in on but I didn’t see it at the time.
Did you get in on a group buy or did you work directly with Wislaw?
Your wheel looks great, btw.

I did everything over the website. Chuck W on here had some work done by them and referred me to them. The communication by email was good. I didn't end up having them do the airbag. I think the total time between me sending my wheel and getting it back was around 5 weeks. The price was less than half of what the places state side were asking. I think the wheel came out great and I was very happy with the whole experience.

J, that is a great looking car. I mean REALLY great. IMHO... everything tastefully done.
What's next on your list? I can't imagine.
Edit: Have you considering lowering it?
Have a great day.

I'm pretty much done really. I need to do something with the inside of my Ztop, reglue the rear of my soft top and go over things that I've already done that I think I can do better.

You've a lot of quid, labor, and love in that car and, if you're nearing the "finish line", what are you going to do when there's "nothing left to do" to it? lol
I've a ways to go with mine... you know... lights... bumper covers... skirts... etc. and everytime I look at it I'm thinking, "Watcha gonna do when there's nothing left to do?".
The "Think I can do better" may keep you busy... but I can't imagine.
My wife keeps telling me if I tooled on the house as much as I tool around on the car we'd have a nicer home. lol.
Cheers!

To defer that question a long long time, I just bought one that needed a lot of work. :-). It's fun bringing it back to life.

This weekend I put new brake pads and discs on all 4 wheels. I used Textar pads and Porsche caliper mounting bolts from Pelican and Meyle discs from eBay. I reglued the anti-squeal dampers to the backs of the brake pads with 3M 468MP Adhesive Transfer Tape, as I read on Rennlist that this is the original adhesive. This was my second set of front brakes and first set of rears. The last time I did the fronts I didn't reglue the dampers and they never squealed. All of the pads were worn down almost to the wear sensors, when I pulled the wear sensors out the thin layer of pad material over the sensor holes broke off, so it was just in the nick of time.

Yes on my old stock front bumper but I have a new front bumper now. I don't recommend adding it unless you know what you are doing. It never fit right.
