It was time for my annual rattlecan refurbish. Gold is the new bronze. And now the look matches their weight! (replicas)

I bought this engine for $2,800 to replace the one I broke (oil filter full of metal). Hope to drop it in in the next few weeks.

Saturday got the wheels back from the shop. Washed and waxed. This morning tried my hand, first attempt, at the pinstripe. Yeah, dusty... just cleaned the edge as it was aa practice run... but the technique worked. This weekend I'll have my wife assist, and cover all 4.

The Stripe-it-All tool worked great, after I figured it out. Took just myself 2 minute for the practice wheel. I figure the red stripe will boost the HP about 2. Per wheel.

The car is Arctic Silver with the red interior.

What color stripe would you go with?

Who is not a fan of pin striping the wheels?

Cheers!
