Be very careful about the low vents from the prototype. You will suck in water spray from the front wheels and all kinds of other gunk that will clog your air filter, or worse.

There's a good reason why they moved them higher in the production model.

My plan is not to touch the snorkels ( leave them up high) and just open up the bottom, I can't imagine too much stuff will make it from down low all the way up to the snorkels.( I pulled the rubber boots back and looked in there and it's just a big hollow space) Besides the car usually only gets used in nice weather. Thanks for the concern though, I'll definitely post if I run into any problems.
