I’ve read that you shouldn’t leave the suspension hanging over the winter. Could be wrong but just putting it out there.

Agreed. Last year I put the jacks under the suspension so it stayed compressed.
But next spring I hope to make some suspension changes so I don't care.

I had also heard that it's not a big deal to let it hang, as long as it's not outside.

Did the DRL hack w/on-off switch

Did the DRL fog light hack with on/off switch today. Really happy with the result. Details and pics here:
