Switched the radio and cd holder. Now I can actually see the radio when the cup holders are in use.

The color is so close it appears the same unless you know it's different. Even then you have to look critically. It make the wheels appear larger which is attractive. I'll do the other three in the Rustoleum if it holds up.

You should post symptoms and you may get some feed back and ideas to help diagnose the problem
I have done the Fuel pump relay jump when I was getting stalling after running, then being able to restart after 10-15 minute cool down
When you jump the fuel pump relay , the pump should start running

Would you be able to post some pics of these lights at night? How was the install?

I bought the HID's already completely installed into the lights so install was simply removing the old headlights and sliding in the new ones and locking them in. Whole thing took about 30 minutes because I was running from the computer (youtube) to the car.

I will take a night picture. I drove with them last night and they work fantastic! Really nice wide beam of light. I need to adjust the depth and make sure they are in sync as far as depth of field.

Cheers for the suggestion, I do need help with the car that's for sure. I've made three attempts at a new post under two separate accounts but they don't seem to be getting past the moderator approval step so I gave up.

It's not because I included a link to a YouTube video of me trying to start the car is it?

(Sorry, off topic I know)

Al.

PSM off and ABS lamps came on yesterday. After reading the forums I checked if my brake lights were working, and they were not. So today I replaced the brake switch. Not a fun job due to cramped access and I'm only 5'7"!

GREAT choice! I run them on my TE50 and they're my benchmark tyre. (I'm also in Melb)

Had blue lights behind me for the first time ever today.

I'm sick of the discontent in America towards the law.

The officer treated me with respect before I could even return him the favor.

Was lucky enough to get a warning and warning was effective I won't be speeding there ever again.

I can't respect our men in blue enough!

First parts order from the dealer, now cheaper than ordering from Pelican, ecs, etc., thanks to the piss poor exchange rate and shipping costs.
Getting ready for the winter work. Off the road 1st of Nov. Calling for mixed precipitation tomorrow

Emerald Necklace drive

We drove the entire Emerald Necklace Metropark route around Cleveland. It is 154 miles and 8 hours including the Big Creek Parkway. The day started cold (42 deg) and sunny but snow hit as we made our way thru the east side portion of the route. It was a fun drive listening to the engine sing all day.

New front pads and rotor "rings" for my 2-piece PFC rotors. You can still see the yellow zinc-nickel plating.

When they were freshly coated...

Cleaned MAF & throttle body, DT40 oil change and final wash and wax of the season. Hiding under a car cover until May next year.
I've got all winter to get parts and perform the 100,000km service.

Yesterday I washed my 2003 S. Then I changed the wheels from the 17 inch with Toyo Proxes T1 Sports to the 18 inch with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 N3s. Since I put the 17 inch wheels and tires on I've been unable to drive the car over 70 without the steering wheel vibrating just enough to be annoying. These Toyo tires seem extremely sensitive to road surface, temperature tire air pressure and how much gas is in the tank! Sometimes the vibration is almost gone and sometimes it is a lot worse. My car isn't a daily driver, but I do try to drive it at least once a week and my commute is 60 miles each way. I'll drive it tomorrow and see how it feels with the 18 inch wheels and tires. If the it feels better, the Toyos will be gone in the Spring! And tomorrow I have a paintless dent guy coming to the office to take a couple of dents out of my rear trunk lid. He's done my daily driver and my wife's car already, so I'm ready to turn him loose on the Boxster now.

Sanded and polished the headlights. They look so much better. Started with 800 grit, there was a lot of junk on them. Then onto 2500 grit and finished off with 3000 grit. All wet sanded. Polished the plastic with two products for plastic and paint.
