My first run was on a Tuesday…basically alone. Only time I seen Johnny law was on my last run on Thursday morning. I averaged 28.7 mpg driving between 75-80mph and doing the Tail was about 17…lol.

I dont know how you can have that cupholder on that side and still comfortably reach the gas pedal. Mine is on the passenger side exactly adjacent to where you have yours, its a little bit of a reach but Ive gotten used to it.

No issues at all TypeA. Cupholders don't get in the way. Look where the foot pad is located on mats....

After putting some freshly polished tails on the Box the original 2002 third brake light lens was looking a little cloudy by comparison. Did the same treatment on the third as the new tails; Maguires 300 correction compound, 302 polish and Ultimate wax all applied with a foam ball on a 3/8ths drill. Results are like new, you didnt know a paint correction system could be used on plastics huh?

Washed it for the first time since owning it. Cleaned the leaves from under the spoiler. Removed the stupid clear bra from the mirrors, and some sticky stuff from the bumper. This thing is going to need some time under a polishing wheel, but still looks really good.

I replaced today my front wishbones and control arms.
Everything went well until I tried to tighten the last nut on the passenger side (the one connecting the wishbone to the wheel frame), I stripped the star part of it:

I think it was already a little bit stripped when I bought it (used). So I still have a gap of 1/8, and the place is PITA to access due to the strut being in the way. Can I keep on driving the car like this or this is a safety hazard?
I am going to replace the struts next weekend, maybe I will have better access to fix it then?

Snapped a top cable, tweaked the clamshell. Not digging the manual top or bouncy clamshell. Waiting for parts... |

Just got home from a week end in Chicago, car ran beautify, I was lucky enough to witness the no hitter at Wrigley on Saturday, Cubs fans are great, I don't think any one left the park, and they cheered on Cole Hamels (Philly's pitcher) for the final out. Chicago is a great city.

It happens sometimes. You didn't have HID bulbs in halogen reflectors, did you Bob?

Replaced the lamps in the headlight assemblies. I had a bulb burn-out this morning. It's been four years, almost to the day, that I replaced my headlight assemblies. Where does the time go??http://986forum.com/forums/general-discussions/29717-facelift.html
