Just got home from a trip to Ottawa, seeing my son. The roads in northern Ontario are amazing compared to SW Ontario, down home all the roads were laid out in nice straight grids. I found one road with at least 3 km of Back and forth twisting roads, I couldn't get it out of 3rd gear. What a blast.

Over 6 hours of driving, get there, averaged 27.5 mpg, not to bad

Forks of the Credit is a nice, twisty drive with Hockley Valley not too far away (between Erin and Orangeville). That is a nice drive. Far closer than Ottawa to fill the void till you can go back. (The Gatineau hills are a cool drive in the fall)
