After having the winter tires put on (yes, I love driving the Box in the snow) last month, the rear left was not holding air. I went to the shop today...

Put LED lights in the door and over head light. Much brighter, almost harsh.
Edit: oh yeah ordered a new lighted wind deflector and retrofit CGT projectors. Looking for headlights to put them into.

Replaced the SAI cut off and change over valves. Located under the right hand intake manifold these are real boogers to get to. Takes about four to six hours (first time) could likely get it done in 3 hours next time. Oh yeah, then drove it all over south Houston, fast and top down.

Fixed the horn in my 2000 base following the simple You Tube instructions. Took two days and I only had to tear it apart and re-assemble it four times. Now that the horn works properly I will probably have a DIY on bullet hole repairs.

did a nice drive from San Diego to Ojai, about 400 miles round trip. Most of it top down
Some nice twisty back roads as well
to bad I had to drive through LA, too much traffic and crappy drivers. Other than that, a great drive

While I was underneath, looking up, I saw the belt. Oops, that's not good:
Maybe the original from 1999? I've only had it since August, should have checked that sooner.

How bad was that motor mount job ?. I just did mine and it was very difficult IMHO.....next time I do one I am going to remove the coolant hoses...they were the biggest problem.....it was so difficult to get the new mount bock over both hoses.

It finally snowed here. Got to go out and check out how well the new Dunlop Winter Maxx tires work. They did pretty good, weaved back and forth, stayed on track, hit the brakes hard stopped great. Accelerating from a stop still took some finesse on the throttle, once moving I could get a little into the throttle, but not much or the tires would break lose. Overall pretty happy with how competent I felt behind the wheel with them.

Took my younger daughter for a ride finally! Here is the story on that.. about two weeks ago, my older daughter (age 6) was sick and had to stay home with me. Well I took her to the dr in my "race car" (what my kids call it). Well, ever since then, my younger daughter (age 5) has asked me about 4,000 times to take her for a ride. And it had finally warmed up enough to get it out for a bit. So I drove her around for a few miles and we stopped to get her some icecream. Well, when we got back she told her sister that we went "like 200" lol!! I think I might of got to 41mph lol. But she is happy, but my older daughter wants to go "200" now. I just can't win lol.

Love it! I got called out by my cousin's son recently - "We went 85, I saw it right there on the speedometer."
My day with the Box was a grueling 2 hours in traffic from North Dallas to SW Arlington - but it was oh so sweet because I had just finished the MCAT.
