That I did. Along with some dryer sheets. The car is on 6 mil plastic as a vapor barrier, and there is a cover on the car itself. It should emerge in April as a beautiful butterfly.

Mine is covered in the garage over a plastic vapor barrier. Dessicant packs inside, exterior surrounded by mothballs and rodent repellants. Battery tender plugged into cigarette lighter receptacle. But dryer sheets? That's new for me. What purpose do they serve?

DBear

P.S. Winter drags on way too long as it is, but when your Boxster's in storage, it seems interminable.

I heard somewhere that the rodents don't like them.. Not sure if if it works it not. I hate the smell of mothballs, so I only put them on the outside of the car. If they don't do anything, at least the car will smell April fresh in the spring!

Was going to mothball mine today for the onset of Winter, then the sun came out one more time, so took a last trip up the coast to the Bushmills Whisky Distillery to purchase some provisions for Christmas, really nice sunset to end a perfect day.
