New under drive pulley, replaced motor mount, changed transmission oil, installed Depot clear tail lights. Big improvement all around - it is great to make changes and see results!

Drove 180 miles, 4 hours to test fix in stalling problem
Car was stalling, restarting after cool down, repeating. I replaced the Fuel Pump relay
I had been driving to work (28 miles round trip) for the last week. I always stayed near shoulder incase that was not the fix. No issues
Finally my son asked if I could come get him from school so he could come home.
His new to him car (2007 mustang - owned for 1 month) overheated and had to be towed to shop up at school the night before(Friday the 13th)
So now I had a long distance test at hand.
The last 20 miles are dark, out in nowhere type roads so I was a bit nervous.
All went well, car ran very well so it would appear that was the issue
Though I alway feel the relay after a drive now to see how hot it gets
It does get warm/hot to the touch. I'm hoping that is normal
I would be curious if others have ever felt their Fuel Pump relays after a drive to see how hot it gets
So I got to drive the whole way with top down (night time 55 degrees) and the boxster did what I expected it to do - Run

Found headlight washer nozzles!
I've lost a few of these headlight washer jets/nozzles on my 2001 Boxster S! I refuse to pay $200+ for a little round piece of plastic that, for the most part, only serves a minor cosmetic purpose. After finding a seller on eBay that sells just the nozzles for $40 a piece, I knew they could be found elsewhere at a better price!
FOUND THEM! For anyone that needs just the jet/nozzle, this is a BMW part for their e46 model's headlight washer. THEY ARE THE EXACT SAME ROUND NOZZLES! Two nozzles on this part. To avoid damaging the jet, I just cut the bottom under the nozzle and popped em out instead of pulling them out. Only $40 at your local BMW dealer!
BMW part number: 616 742 908 68
AND... The ones on eBay apparently are selling at $40 each... So for those of you that have the time and need gas money...

Nice pics of some beautiful areas.
You didn't, by any chance, happen to spot Auric Goldfinger being tooled around in his Rolls-Royce Phantom III while you were in the Alps, did you?

No but we did see on 2 separate days around half a dozen new 991 thrashing around. We thought they may have been press but one group was Polish registered.

Replaced the ignition switch and the headlamp switch. I was able to do all of the ignition switch (except hooking back up the ac duct) without crawling under the dash by working through the dash vent that you remove to do the headlight switch. Yeah
I got the idea from this thread:
http://986forum.com/forums/general-discussions/46411-ignition-switch-replacement-holy-crap.html
Thanks kjc2050!

Drove her to the local Cineplex with the missus, in the wet, to see "Rush".
The movie lived up to all its hype; a most excellent film! The lead actors were terrific as Hunt and Lauda.
