A couple of weeks ago I had a bad week with the boxster
Got a speeding ticket on one day (45 in a freakin 30), then backed it into the tire of my explorer on another day when I was switching cars in the driveway.
It turned out that the rear bumper was damaged previously and poorly repaired. A coating of fiberglass cracked like an eggshell and left me with a huge spot of plastic bumper cover exposed.
I got it sanded and resprayed by a local shop and just got it back Monday. They did a fantastic job! This Friday I'm taking it into Eksten in Rochester for the IMS, RMS, AOS, oil change, and a coolant flush.
