Had my daughter contort herself to remove the set screws on the ignition switch so I could replace it. Had her contort again to tighten the screws.
Took it out in the rain to have dinner with a buddy who hadn't seen it yet, took him for a spin. He's now talking getting one in a few years.

Drove down PCH, had a Vette rev up his motor to race..
Just ignored him and let him take off, I then just listen to my motor exhaust shifting through the gears.. Popped the top up and jumped on the 405 and opened it up a bit on the return trip..
Dropped the top upon off ramp exit and took the back way home..
Parked in the garage and tried the comb the knots out of my hair..

Tried to get LED turn signals and brake lights to work %^&*$. And said, "Stuff it!" I had just waxed her so I needed an excuse for a drive. Grabbed the list. Went the long way shopping, taking on some twisties. Yes, we have some of those roads in Texas - just not like CA or CO. Saw a sport bike and both of us took off! He passed me I passed him, there was mutual respect of speed. It ended with a salute and a pledge to get a Gixxer!
I decided to do the Crios Exhaust Mod. Found a punch at Lowes that was ¾" in diameter and costs $12. Pretty cheap and easy. I had the mod done in less than 5 minutes. It DOES seem to provide "more flow" at higher RPMs (wish I would have thought of it earlier in the day - could have given the Suzuki a better run).
Then, I packed up my wife and we went out for dinner. We enjoyed the long way to the restaurant but had to take the short way back. You KNOW what it is like driving aggressively on a full stomach.
So my day was cut short by eating….have to remember to do less of that!

New Aos
I just changed my AOS and cleaned the throttle body now have to put it all back together.
Will probably wash the engine while I have it apart.

Changed my oil. took me 4 days
It's been 7 month and some where around 3000 miles
Why 4 days, I dropped the sump plate. I did it last year to check.
I still need to cut the filter and examine but the sump was super clean.
I'm much happier with this locktite 5900 application then last years. Last time was on my back, colder weather, trying to apply to engine side. I wanted to kill my self
This year I applied to the plate side. At least I could stand up and apply
That Locktite plunger system is the worst possible way to apply this stuff. Trying to push the plunger, maintain a steady hand and a small bead is painful. This stuff will not flow through the 1.5mm hole.
I got-her done though so now I can sort of relax. I still nerviously check for any signs of leaking

This weekend I installed leather trim pieces with red accent stitching from Redline. I'm pretty happy with the results, as I tend towards the subtle, OEM-looking changes.

Headlights
I replaced my original lights with CCFL’S purchased from Dubaday. Not to hard to do. Also replaced the trunk struts.

Drove my oldest son up to my friends house so he (my son) could buy and pick up his first Porsche! He bought it from a good friend of mine after my son drove it down the mountainside when my friend had to evacuate due to the fires here in Colorado. He told him if he ever wants to sell it to give him a shot. 2 weeks later he is the proud owner of a beautiful 1970 911T.
