Here's what I did with my Boxster today: I sighed at it's covered form this morning after spraying silicon lube on the garage door opener screw so it would close at -7F. Then I day-dreamt about driving it in warmer weather as eked above zero in the afternoon.

I know fellow owners in Canada, the upper Midwest and the Northeast are suffering the same or worse. Even Johnny Danger's legendary Speed Yellow can't help us in these conditions.

After driving to Northern California and back to Seattle this Fall, I noticed a loud noise coming from the right rear wheel bearing. I bought new wheel bearings and ROWM030 suspension from Suncoast. This weekend, I installed new rear wheel bearings, springs, and shocks. I have a few weeks to do the front suspension before Spring arrives. Can't wait for Spring.

Up heah in Maine it is damn cold, but I have a little clock in my head that keeps track of how long it's been since I've driven the Box. Today, the alarm went off so I had to take it out and "run" some "errands". It's so cold the roads are nice and dry (read frozen solid).

Anyway, the oil's been heated up and circulated, the tires and brakes spun, and the battery has gotten a charge, so she's back to sleep for another few weeks.

Tinted my windows

I like the white/dark look. I had my windows tinted today to get ready for the warmer weather...haha I put on my new wheels last weekend after getting them back from the painter.

Waxed the wheels and wiped the entire interior with 303 Aerospace Protectant (good stuff).

Drove it in the Performance Driving class at Sears Point. Set the fastest time in the autocross (29 sec). Had a blast on the track!

What kind of tires do you use for autocross? With that kind of claim pics are needed!

Took my Boxster down to Sydney Harbor after a solid clean and wax job.

How long was that course? We do a mile course, everyone's happy below 80 sec.

After three hours of drilling out the exhaust studs in the cat pipes my new Top Speed Headers are in. They are helping with the low rpm sluggish performance that boxsters have.
