Ga z-top hardtop

If it is on ebay it must be legit! $3,500 if an awful lot of cash to dish out on an accessory for a $12,000 car, even for this. I love my 2000 Boxster, but would rather save the money and put it towards a newer car.

Looks pretty good. I would like to see more photos. Is that a exact Cayman top? Seems close to it.

That's the old Zeintop.

If the listing is for real, that's great news. Many people would like one. I had one for about 2 years, and sold it in 2010. There was a lot of interest.

It was a great looking item, pretty close in looks to a Cayman, but different enough to be interesting. Getting the shut lines right was the great challenge. Some were able to get it right, some didn't. It helps if it's a dark-color car, so the imperfections in the gaps aren't as noticeable.

There's a little less headroom with the Zeintop than the soft top.

The shipping from South Africa always was a difficult aspect. When the company went out of business, a number of people who made payment didn't get delivery. Pick up in NY would solve that problem.

I actually know the guy selling them. I have yet to see the product in person. There coming from the old top makers nephew or some story.
