Home made pedal set

Hi All, been looking for a decent set of RHD pedal set for my 2003 Boxster S, and to cut a long story short, I decided to make a set my self. I made use of 2.5mm stainless steel, and brushed it a bit to take off the mirror effect. Made use of plastic plugs and you shall see the result in the pics attached.

Very good work. I never thought of making them myself. Looks simple and straight forward. How much time did it take? Where did you get the plastic pieces?

how much did you spend on this? Good job. Spending a lot of cash on pedals seems really dumb since they will only get all scratched up and who is actually going to polish their pedals..

Hi an thanks. The total cost of this work was say 50 Euros including new drill bits, which I strongly recommend. Please do note that you shall need to see the 'curve' on the clutch and brake pedal. I made a piece of cardboard that fits vertically on it (do not forget to take of the rubber pads too). Total work was approx 7 hours-ish. To be honest I did make some good use of my friends metal workshop...

I got a beautiful set off eBay with Porsche logos on them for under $90us shipped brand new. They come in either aluminum or black finish, look great too.
