Soft top reset instructions

I removed the hood last year and I stupidly put the framework back down without the part i removed, When I tried to line everything up again it attached no problem but it now only goes down and doesn't come back up. When I have manually raised it up it's fine but when I have used the motor etc it makes a terrible crunching noise at the fully open position. I changed the motors and the drive motor in the centre.

Does anyone know of a reset program?
