Two-tone Boxsters? Two-tone paint jobs looked great in the 50s. I suppose they stopped doing that because it was more work than one colour. Has anyone done this to their Boxster? Photos? |

Mercedes had that as well through the early '80's until they realized how bad it looked. It went the way of fake wood paneling on the PT cruisers. A stripe or graphics can look decent, two-tone paint would not be on any car I'd own. |

Start with Photoshop and try out a few paint schemes on the photo of your choice. Most likely you'll convince yourself that there was a reason two-tone paint went out of style. |

How about something like this. Rather ugly if you ask me. Looks like someone that still needs to paint their body kit. http://i866.photobucket.com/albums/a...ce/twotone.jpg |

I've always thought about getting my top recolored. Black and yellow or something to that extent. I know there are some silver boxsters with red tops out there, and I thought they looked great |

The hood and bumper yes - the side panel not so much |

Gah. I think the car itself is a classic shape. Two tone paint distracts from that and tries to impose another shape. |

I think that body kit makes it look like a pinewood durby car. |

It kind of looks like the Mazda RX-7 from Tokio Drift.... :( no like!!!! http://autocarspeed.com/wp-content/u...Front-Left.jpg http://986forum.com/forums/attachmen...ero_01_600.jpg |

I'd call that more a single color with an accent color; not two-tone. My car is similar to yours. http://i1114.photobucket.com/albums/...Misc/Car23.jpg |
