Help Boxster key remote

Hi ,

My remote key stopped working a few days back, I removed the cover and replaced the battery, the red light glows but does not open the door or the trunk. This is three button key, for 2001 porsche Boxster. I tried few options but no luck.

help in any direction appreciated.
