Registration is now open. It's scheduled for Sept. 7-9. Anyone going this year?

Looks fun, just a little too far of a drive from Ohio.

The wife and I attended about three or four years ago and it was a blast. I'll be out of town on business this year, but I'll probably put it on my schedule for next year so I can be sure to go. It's a lot of fun seeing all those boxsters in one place.

People are really nice too.

Lawdevil, I'm jealous. The 981s are amazing looking. I shall not drive one until I can buy one or I'll be totally dissatisfied with what I currently drive. HOWEVER, I think you'll find the driving in NC (smokey mountains or blue ridge mountains) better than Fredericksburg, unless you like long sweepers and 100 degree heat and high humidity.

Is this supposed to be like an Octoberfest, but with Boxsters ? Do they even have October in Texas ?

It's an excuse to get together and drink some adult beverages! No, October isn't like what you have Still pretty steamy here but got to make the best of it

What a great weekend! I believe there were 128 cars, not all Boxsters and only a couple of tickets and two flat tires. We drove down from the DFW area in a group of 14 cars. Passing through the small Texas towns created quite the spectacle! One kid stood on the side of the road with his jaw dropped counting the cars as they went by! Made his day! Saturday was the drives and lineup of all of the cars. We did the photo rally which was a blast. Can't wait for next year!

You should start one! It's great fun to see all of those Boxsters in one place and it's a great excuse to meet new people and drive the car like it should be driven! The farthest two cars were from Chicago and NC.
