Average Age of owners

Would love to get the average age of this group. Did it on the speedster owners site and it was fun.

I am 40 but feel 41

97 Boxster 05-27-2012 05:59 PM

39 in a few weeks. The past few years of owning the Porsche have made me feel like I am in my mid 20's though. LOL :D

dewolf 05-27-2012 06:07 PM

45 shortly. Porsche ownership over the last ten+ years or so has at times made me feel 70. Especially when you're working on a Porsche and you get to that 'why the f%^& did they put that there' bolt.

fivepointnine 05-27-2012 06:11 PM

33...but feel and look like 28....first Porsche in a while, had a 944 in college,

brp987 05-27-2012 06:17 PM

52 now. I felt much older when I was younger. I feel much younger now, sort of like the The Birds song. Always kept fit, never put on weight.

ckkrause 05-27-2012 06:22 PM

Oh No!!!! I'm the oldest old fart here...... 60!! But still racing!!!

particlewave 05-27-2012 06:28 PM

33, but still 25 at heart(and in my super sexy good looks). :D

wvboxst3r 05-27-2012 06:29 PM

43 and getting younger but wiser.

2003S 05-27-2012 06:47 PM

44; seems like 40s are the top of the bell curve? Hmmm, mid life crisis much?

thstone 05-27-2012 08:01 PM

51; one year into my third 25. :D

Pirate50 05-27-2012 08:52 PM

50 - Hate that people think it's a mid-life crisis auto, been into sports cars since I could drive.

alvinlee 05-27-2012 08:56 PM

51, took a year off work and drove my 9 year old around to all of his activities
In the best physical shape of my adult years
He doesn't say it but 4 years later, my son still gets a kick out of being dropped off at school in a Porsche. Especially top down days.

walt2810 05-27-2012 09:09 PM

bought my99 when i was 27 & still got it.
It was a garage queen but since last year it's been my DD.

Joel-Box-ster 05-27-2012 09:26 PM

I'm 42 and it drops to 20's when i'm driving my Box but feels like 50's after working under the car.

rene525d 05-27-2012 10:32 PM

DJ Richard 05-28-2012 03:18 AM

I'm 44 and my 02 Boxster S is my second Porsche. My first one was an '83 928s.

tolum 05-28-2012 03:27 AM

44 here too but have it since my 40th birthday.

Retirement Toy 05-28-2012 04:07 AM

This will raise the curve

Turning 72 in july and driving the 2000 base boxster keeps the mind young.

Highlow 05-28-2012 04:08 AM

20 y/o here. I think we had this same topic 2 or 3 months ago that received a lot of response.

Dave S. 05-28-2012 04:28 AM

51 and bought my slightly used '03-S 4 years ago. Had Triumph sports cars my entire driving life life until 2 years ago. Wanted a better handling, faster car that was invented after cup holders and heated seats ;-). Love driving the Porsche.

recycledsixtie 05-28-2012 04:30 AM

Will be 66 in August with my 2001 Boxster base:)
Have had it one year but should have done it sooner!:):):)

milliemax 05-28-2012 04:45 AM

57 and feeling it !!!!!!!!!

BlueStar 05-28-2012 05:42 AM

Waited too long

I am 67 now and when I got my first Porsche - a 2001 Base Boxster. Shouldn't have waited so long. It is a fine car. Although I've never been without a sports car. Had a trouble free first generation RX-7. After that car I decided I wanted a sports car that went VROOM instead of WHIRL. Then I had two Jaguar XKEs. Talk about maintenance and problems. Compared to them the Boxster is a breeze.

SpikeJr 05-28-2012 08:33 AM

Just rolled 46 on the odometer this weekend...pretty sure just sitting in the car takes 10+ yrs off your age...

particlewave 05-28-2012 09:28 AM

Wow! Thanks, fellas!
I feel much younger now. :D

Just messin with ya. ;)

RandallNeighbour 05-28-2012 09:54 AM
