I just ordered this last week and it arrived today. Great solution for me to get the key head replaced. This DOES NOT come with any electronics but was an easy swap for me.

Wanted to share as this worked for me. I am in NO WAY affiliated with the seller. Good luck if you are in the same boat as I was.

OD - Received a new plastic housing and key blank in the sale on Ebay. Had my old key fob that was worn out (buttons did not work and the plastic cracked). Replaced the insides of my old key into the new plastic head and insterted the old Porsche Key itself and snapped the two parts together.

Works great. Buttons are a little stiff but they do work. The clean/colored Porsche logo adds a nice touch to the backside as well.

Gotcha, so it was basically a new key minus electronic guts. Got the key shank cut (dealer or keymaker?), and then it worked outright? Or did you need to reprogram it using one of your other keys. If not that, did you get it reprogrammed at the dealer?

OD, I used my old key blank. No programming necessary on my end. Lucky with that i guess. Now my weekend project is the new motor mount.
