How much grease in axles

Wayne's book says that one of those grease tubes should be sufficient for two axles (4 ends). I think i used up half for only one side and I feel it ain't enough. Howe much grease do you actually pack into each end? Up to the brim and then put the boot on?

I believe most axles require about the same...usually it's about a 1/2 pint to a pint.

PS. Don't for get the busted knuckles and a couple of 6 packs.

Hmmm. I wonder why Pelican thinks one 14 oz tube is sufficient for all 4. No way. So, I'm out of Swepco for 3 ends. Any other products recommended that I can get from Napa, Pepboys etc? Don't want to wait another week for this to arrive.

As for knuckles, it seems an ok job with gloves on. I did soak them and clean then in kerosene so they are like they are spotless. As for the beer, the fridge in the garage is right next to the car and it's full.
