I disagree

I don't know if it is my extra 25-30HP or a difference in my shifter, but I've NEVER had any problems with my shifter, with missing gears or anything. A friend who drives a 2.5L Boxster drove my S and just loved the way it shifted vs. his.

So while I won't discount that some people have problems with their shifters as is evidenced by their posts, I have to believe these are in the minority or else Porsche would make changes and more press would pick up on it.

I for one don't have the problems mentioned here.
