a professional detailer could make an identical car look 99.9% as good using a $30 wax. Only an extremely well-trained eye could pick the $30 from $1,500 wax.
The bling comes from the preparation before the wax goes on.

+1! Car looks 95% and then the final layer (not filler) give the reflectivity.

Thats probably 50% of the value of your car - why would you?????????
Unless you bought it to polish something else

For that price you could have a detailer come over to the house every quarter of the year for a full pro detail. Mother's California Gold pure carnuba wax is about $15 per bottle. For the extra, I would pay "my guy" to wax on and wax off. However, the car's so small it takes no time to do it yourself.

The "premium" detailing products industry is largely marketing bull****************.
The 'budget' detailing products you see in most auto stores are basically the same product but they'll just give you a less concentrated product so that you have to use more of it (and buy more later). That dilution of the basic ingredients also means you have to put in more elbow grease but you'll still achieve 99.9% of the same result. There's also the idiot factor. Too many guys can not be trusted with a concentrated paint product.....which said ding bat will use to wax his tires with.
Meanwhile the "premium" detailing products go the opposite way and sell you 16 step kits when all you nedd is two or three.

Ok, I just finished my first detailing project. And, wow did my hot water heater come out nice . Gee, I never thought that such an ordinary household object could look so shiny . I'm seriously thinking about putting some Armor All on the hoses too. I highly recommend Swisswax to anyone who $1500 to spend on car wax.

I got an email back from Swisswax stating that their product can prevent IMS failure. Apparently, the smooth shine and coating that the wax leaves behind greatly reduces wind-drag. Less wind resistance means less draw on the engine . In turn, this equates into less engine fatigue . Thus, reducing the risk of IMS failure . For that reason I decided to purchase 2 more jars .

Those water heater concours events have very stringent judging, so you need a high end product to be compeditive. The trophy is totally worth it.

I bet Danger is using the WAX for a totally different purpose (hair style maybe?!) and hiding the pot behind the water heater? Com'on 1500 invest got to be for something else than the water tank and car alone
