Boxster Hard Top

Hi everyone, does anyone know if a hard top from a 2000 911 cabriolet will fit on a 99 Boxster?

no it should not fit, it is a different shape in the rear

No, they aren't compatible. Hardtops from 1997 - 2004 (986) Boxsters will work on your 1999.

No they don't fit, but I know why you are asking. The hardtops from 996 911's are much cheaper than Boxster hardtops.

I've noticed this too. I think it is simply supply and demand. During the first few years of the 996 Cabriolets the hardtop came with them as a standard feature. Evidently many didn't stay with the cars and became available in the marketplace. In 2002 the 996 Cabriolets first came with a glass rear window and the hardtop became an option.
