I think the Euro standards ACEA are more important than the API ratings.

If the Rotella oil has ACEA A3/B3/B4 specs it "should" be OK, but it also depends on how you drive your car and how often you change the oil / filter.

I have used Shell Helix Ultra synthetic (5W40, A3/B3/B4) oil in my Boxster S - and Shell motorcycle oils in my bikes too - for years with great results. They make a good product but I don't know how available Shell products are in North America.
