Drop Link Question

2002 Boxster, 2.7L engine

Ran over some debris yesterday while driving on highway. Heard a loud clunk at rt side undercarriage of vehicle.

Steering and handling seemed to be off following the event. i.e. a little bit of oversteer while making sweeping rt turns, steering not as precise (wanders), not as sure footed.

Inspected vehicle and found rt rear drop link bent.

What driveability issues would a bent drop link cause?

Will have alignment checked tomorrow.

thanks for the help.

There may be ...

... other issues aside from the bent droplink.
Having an alignment will most likely find them and get them corrected.
The droplink only acts upon the anti swaybar but even bent a little shouldn't affect your drivability as you describe.
My guess is that your toe alignment on that side is out of spec due to the track arm's cam adjustment which moved.
Happy Boxstering,
Pedro
