Durametric not working red light on. Due to ecu flash?

I'm pretty sure i used the cable after ecu flash. I called Durametric and they said it's probably ground issue. Didnt help me that much.

What to do?

We use a Durametric unit on cars with all kinds of re-flashes, never had an issue. Are you sure the cable is seated in the OBD II port? There have been a lot of "problems" reported getting simple OBD II scanners to read because the plug was not seated, issue went away once it was...............

I'm sure it's in properly. Green light is on when it's plugged in, as soon as I pick "dme" or "abs" to be scanned, red light comes on then I have to unplug the cables and reset program to give it another shot.

Does it make a difference if you plug it in before or after you turn the ignition key? I always plug-in after I turn the ignition on or start the car.
