More likely you have a cracked oil filler tube. Had a 97 Box with 14,600 miles that Porsche dealer had (supposedly) given a 15K service. Brought home and found big puddle of oil on the floor. Since the dealer was so far away, I took it to an indie who discovered that it had a cracked oil filler tube. Apparently the dealer just kept pouring oil until eventually the engine was full, but meanwhile a good part of it leaked out on top of the engine. Indie replaced the tube and sopped up the excess oil (about a quart) and I never had another problem.
