Clanging noise when in low gear

Kelliem Registered User Join Date: Jun 2011 Location: San Francisco Posts: 1	Clanging noise when in low gear Hey all - I just picked up a new 02 'S' from Carmax, so I believe it is in reasonably good condition. 72k on it. I am hearing a kind of clanging noise when in low gears at lower speeds though. Almost sounds like metal dragging on the ground maybe - but checked the under & she's clean. No problems in the higher gears. Wondering if I'm not shifting properly or not using enough clutch? Been awhile since I've driven stick - but no problems before. Loving the car otherwise. Thanks for any help.
