Pay it forward

I was wondering if there is any interest for a sticky "Pay it forward" thread.
I am also on the X3 bimmerfest forum where we have such a thread
This will be a thread where we can post free items that we may not need that others do. This would be a "No Strings" attached other than goodwill and karma.
I think we all have stuff lying around in our garages, collecting dust for which we have no use and for which it would almost be an embarrassment to ask money for, but someone else on this forum might have use for them. And one day someone who gave might actually receive

So I'll start with
(GONE) * 2 amber front side markers which are left over from de-ambering
(GONE) CD holder which goes into the center console
* 2 cross drilled front rotors with maybe 15k miles on them (local pickup only), still available
water pump with maybe 45k miles on it

I've got a set of oem front and rear sway bars that came off of my "S", that frankly I couldn't be bothered with trying to sell . Also, have a set of perfect condition amber side markers as well . Oh, and by the way, my 4th wife is available also . Though, she's no DIY project !

Great idea, I have stuff too. I guess I could just list stuff on Classifieds as free.

Pay it Forward

Ipod connector for CDR-220 and others (see link). It charges the Ipod as well. Here is a link to cable.

I've got one of those cup holders that fits in the centre console. I'd like to swap for a decent set of horns.

Does this integrate? I bought a Dice but it just uses the aux jack and plugs into the headset jack on iphone. To say the the sound sux is an understatement. There is a constant hum, plus it doesn't charge. I was told you couldn't get one to integrate with a CDR 220

If anybody has a set of headlights for cheap that's just laying around, I would very much appreciate them. Don't need the corners...just the headlights. Thanks.

This cable plugs into the back of the stereo on an otherwise unused set of pins. Then you have to ground it out. I will admit I got some hum, like an interference type noise. I changed the location of the ground wire to a spot close to the passenger door away from other electronics. It reduced the hum significantly but, there was still a faint noise when no music was being played. I also “insulated” the wire harness for minimal interference.

The plug end that plugs to the ipod is the same as the charger/docking hookup.

For the price it cost compared to other cables and ipod accessories, I got my moneys worth while I had that horrible deck. I upgraded last year to the MVH8200BT Pioneer deck and it’s like night and day.

If this is still available, I'm in.

I have a stock crank pulley from my 2.7 - replaced with an underdrive pulley.
I also have the lower console, CD storage tray, and storage cubby (did the GT3 console delete).
