Questions about Rejex and Keyfob

Hi,

We finally got some sunny days and negotiated some time to clean the car
I did the whole thing, wash , clay, wax, wash the carpet...

I used Rejex and it says on the bottle that it should last 4 month even through car washes.. However it's not clear what should I use for washing my car. Can I use one of those washing liquids from Mequiars or ArmorAll? will they removbe Rejex? If not what will remove Rejex?

Also I'm thinking on getting a second key, my keyfob stopped working a while ago. Can I use 997 keyfob for 2000 Boxster? They look nicer and seem better built that 986 ones.
Also will I have to reprogram both keys? or can I just add one to existing key?
I'm thinking of buying Keyfob from Ebay (the one with the long number) and let Stealership do the programming

Thanks
Sasha

All you may ever need to know about car detailing is on www.autopia.org !!

Meguiars has also a pretty good forum for info. I personally do not use Armor All.

Rejex is better used on wheels. It repels dirt but I am not certain if ok on the paint.

I doubt a 997 key fob will work.

Thanks Andy,

I read that Rejex unlike NuFinish doesn't bond with paint.
I'll check out the links.

Rejex is an excellent product. I have been using it for years. Usually lasts at least six months.
