Lightbulb Replace Suspension

How many kilometers should be necessary to replace suspension system and thinking springs has arrived at the end of life?


74000km.
boxster 2.5 MY99

Not even close. I would look at the SHOCKS at 100K MILES but the springs are good for close to 200K would be my guess.

Now, brakes and tires are another matter .......

I guess it depends on how you use your car - for street use I'd say that the above numbers are correct. For my race car I'd actually burn through about a set of springs per season, but that's under extreme use. Unless you are looking to lower the car or update to adjustable shocks (neither of which I'd recommend), then I'd spend your money somewhere else.
