Hey All,

Sorry to be pestering the boards lately (Might have something to do with the overhaul i just did)

The clutch, pressure plate etc were all replaced recently, but now the clutch sticks but only in a certain circumstance.

Only sticks when under full acceleration and Revs are above 6,000rpm

it only sticks for a split second, but enough to make the gear change jumpy

Can you try to describe the symptom a little better?

Ill try,

Under full acceleration and shifting at very high rpm, i push the clutch in, change gear and then release the clutch pedal, initially the clutch is "stuck" against the floor for a moment and then releases normally.

Doesnt happen under normal driving conditions.

You need to bleed your clutch. The brakes and clutch share a common fluid reservoir. Might as well flush brake fluid and bleed both systems.

Agree - bleed the clutch and brakes. Use a different color fluid, like ATE Super Blue, so you know when you're done.

Save yourself a world of grief and buy a Motive Black Label European Power Bleeder. You can do a complete flush, by yourself, in about 1/2 an hour. Well worth the investment as this is a job that you should do at least once every two years.

Similar symptoms when starting vehicle, the clutch had to travel a little further than normal for two weeks to start then it happened! When starting as usual during the depress on the clutch I felt a pop or give way and the clutch was suck all the way down to the floor. In neutral I was able to pull it up with my foot and shift normally however cautious not to go down too far or it would get stuck again. I drove it to the shop and it was diagnosed with two leaks one in the Clutch Master Cylinder and the other in the Master Slave Cylinder. I will have both replaced at @ $900.00. I will pick up this Friday 10/15/2011.
