I have them on my 2001 S and they seem ok. Grip level seems to be there but I haven't driven a similar boxster s with Michelin PS2's on it to compare with. I pushed these tires pretty hard last year and seem to be forgiving before they let loose. Wear seems to be minimal at best. I can't really see any where on mine at all.
