Does the noise change with speed (wheels, brakes, transaxle, CV joints) or RPM (motor)?

Ok maybe I was not clear. Hard to tell from you description so far. If the car is sitting still in neutral and you rev the motor do you get the noise or only while the car is moving? Does the noise increase as the car increases speed?

when sitting still and you turn up the rpm then it increases, im not sure whilst driving, can't hear that. sounds like something came loose, like a pulley or something. car is going to porsche shop tomorrow, monday i'll know more.
