Yeah. Not a problem for me at all.

I'm 6'1 (maybe 6'2) 205 pounds, the fit in my 986 is hit or miss. Sometimes I get pain in my legs because of the awkward position my leg is in, especially when I wear dress shoes for some reason. I would sit in one before committing, although I plan on losing a bit of weight and that should make things perfect.

6'1" and 250 lbs; I fit like a hand in a glove....or is like a sausage in a casing? I drove a little over 500 in one day and my 50+ year old back was fine.

The 986 (MY03-04), may have a pinch less of leg room than the Cayman and 987, but it has a removable center console (the vertical piece that connects to the dashboard -- it actually doesn't connect!). You can purchase for a console delete kit as I did. this is a Porsche item designed for racing so the driver's hands wouldn't wack his right leg. This provides amazing extra leg movement and resonable comfort for me at 6'3" and leggy.

I've attached a pic of the kit piece. If you are interested and need to see it in the car, let me know and I'll reduce the size a few photo files and attach them.

It gives the car a well finished retro look.
