New Poster need Conv HELP!

I have a 1997 Boxster and i dont have the original manual. HOW da hell do i get the top down manually please help me!

the center latch above the mirror gets unlatched and the bottom switch to the right of the radio bets held until the top lite under the guages goes off. And if you have a plastic back window, do the top about a third of the way down and then get out and look at how it is folding. You may need to do the "chop" which helps it fold without getting hung up on the window and cracking it.

You can't drop the top manually, you need electrical power. If you're having problems lowering it, insure the windshield latch is opened all the way before initiating the "top down" sequence switch. If it catches as the top is being lowered you WILL break the plastic ball joints on the convertible motor on the both sides.
