Oil (Winter into Spring)

I've heard everywhere from 3 to 12 months on time, 3k to 15k on miles.

Myself I do 1 year and 3k for Mobil 1, maybe 2k more miles but not longer time for a better oil. Do a search for oil threads for opinions on better oil grades/brands.

Examine the oil filter for solid residue. Consider a magnetic drain plug.
