Lucas Oil Stabalizer ??

Hi

Just wondering if anyone has ever run the Synthetic Lucas Oil stabilizer stuff in along with there oil of choice

The Lucas stabilizer makes the oil really sticky.

I, along with many other people have to hear the annoying chatter the motor makes on cold startups ....... was just wondering if this stuff could make that noise a thing of the past???

Just wondering what everyones thought is regarding this product?

If you are using a good, ACEA rated full synthetic, no additives are needed. If you are running an oil that needs an additive to perform, you need a different oil...........

I use Castrol Syntec 10W40 and have absolutely no chatter at cold start up...you need to change to a different brand/weight, instead of looking at snake oil.

Yeah, ,my next oil change will be the castrol Syntec 10-40 for sure

I have been reading that Castrol Syntec isnt really a TRUE FULL synthetic oil though??? Apparently the raw oil they start out with for this product is still dino oil. Mobil sued them years ago for this.

Can do a quick search on this ...... "Castrol Syntec not real synthetic" will give you some good reads!

Is the current Castrol Syntec actually full synthetic??

He believes its ok too go 20k miles on a oil change .... pretty interesting!
