I was thinking it would make a nice Christmas present for the wife, as long as she lets me borrow it from time to time

Unhappy Late Christmas?

Amazon says it won't be available until Jan of 2011.

2001 Boxster S Also

Hey Steve, just curious- what are you looking to do to your Boxster from a project point of view. I'm a newbie to the scene having just bought mine about 6 months ago and am always looking for some ideas as to what I can do to the car without sacrificing performance.

You can find more than 101 projects for your Boxster on the internet, for free. There is a list of the 101 projects on the pelican parts forum. It is mostly maintence stuff, like how to change your oil, or replace the pollen filter, and you can get free instructions on the internet for just about everything on the list. He also includes some DIY guides that other people came up with.

The nice part about having a book is that you can have it by the car while you are working. Easier than dragging the computer out to the garage and cheaper, not to mention greener, than printing the DIY's.

C'mon Mark, get yourself up to speed on the new technology! Steve Jobs will be out of work with dinosaurs like you around. Get yourself an iPad and crawl under your Boxster!

Mine arrived Friday. At $23.95 it's an excellent value and a great addition to your reference library. Use it for one project and it's more than paid for itself.

Way to go Wayne! I look forwarding to getting a copy. Your Tech Articles have been fantastic, it will be nice not to have to bring the laptop to the garage .

It is FINALLY available. I ordered mine from Pelican last week. I doubt it will be autographed, but that is okay because it will still read the same. This book will be a time saver since I was getting tired of printing the articles from the Pelican Tech site.

Every book shipped out of Pelican is autographed by me (well, the ones that I have written). Yes, my hand is often tired.

Wow! Nice touch Wayne. Thanks. Hopefully I can keep the grease and oil off the book while I finally fix something on my car (instead of the dealer). Looking forward to receiving it in the mail.
