Steering Lock Assemble

How do I remove the steering lock assemble from my 2001 Boxster. It has the ignition lock cylinder on the front and ignition switch on the back with an arm to the steering column. It seem to stick from the steering column. I have all bolts removed but still does not came loose. Thanks.

Hi, was this your problem also?

When I remove the ignition key it takes about 10 seconds before the steering lock engages and locks the steering, seems to be worse in cold weather.

Do I need to replace the ignition switch, lubricate something in the steering column or is there a problem elsewhere?

Thanks

Franco
