Man, I was just looking for some aftermarket headlights and the search brought me back to the forum, LOL.

I'll definetely be interested in some aftermarket lights for my '99!!!!!

On a related subject, I've heard of people who had removed the clear lens of the headlight assembly and changed/painted/mod'ed the internals of stock headlights in other cars. My brother just did on his Toyota Tacoma to dechrome them. In fact, the insulation of some of the cables inside of my headlights are starting to crack and fall off. That would be a great way to fix them.

My litronics are turning a little yellow, so I might be down for these depending on what they look like.

Men, what are we waiting for? Let's get organized and DO THIS!!!! Anybody care to share the contact info for the company? Maybe submitting some design suggestions?
Here's a quick rendition using Windows paintbrush to get the ball rolling! Pretty much anybody can better this for sure but is a start.

I'd be interested in aftermarket headlights. I will soon be replacing mine anyway.

Did you ever hear anything back from that company?

Engine Light just came on after porsche oil change...

Any ideas on getting that damn light to turn off without dropping big money from porsche? I am not usually looking for a quick fix but maybe someone knows something I don't. My book said it could be a loose lid... I don't know.

I agree - totally overdone with all the LED's, and they cost considerably more than oem lights. Not what I had in mind at all.

LEd is way of the future they say

my 2 cents
Too much chrome on that ebay one, a little blackout paint and it will look pretty good even head turning dare i say.

The projector lens on that though is probably garbage. Be warned alot of the aftermarket projector headlights I seen had terrible cutoff. Most even throw less usable light on the road than regular halogens housing

Those eBay ones have since disappeared. Did anyone find out who made them? The same seller sells the rear lights for almost double the price of other sellers, so maybe another seller can get these headlights for a lot cheaper.

I have contacted many sellers who sell rear lights, none seemed to have the front ones.

You can always search eBay for 996 headlights as they fit Boxsters but for some reason they are listed cheaper, I got a pair for $800.00 with control module.

Here are two listings one left and one right for about $919.00 total

99 00 01 02 03 04 Porsche Boxster Left Xenon Headlight Nice | eBay

99 04 Porsche 991 996 Boxter Carrera Xenon Headlight Complete 99663105807 | eBay

Also search for "Boxter headlights" as they tend to type Boxster wrong on the listings ;-)

The post was more on search of eBay not specifically those two listings, but yeah for OEM lit's they can run anywhere from $800.00 to $2,000.00

Now those two links the chip and crack were to the underbody of the light which would not impact install or function of the light itself, so as long as they work and fit it would be a decent deal not a great deal. But there are great deals all the time out there if you search a bit.
